Christmas

Christmas at The Kings Arms

December is always a special time to get together with family and friends, and at The Kings Arms we truly love to indulge in the sprit of Christmas.

Our feature 30 foot Christmas tree in the garden with over 1500 lights twinkling, a further ten lighting up our pathway. Inside, tastefully decorated with a further two large trees, all set off with our three open log fires. A country inn with a real warmth and cozyness providing the perfect setting for your gathering, be it with work colleagues, friends or family.

Festive Menu

We have put together a Festive Menu that will run everyday from December 1-24th inclusive. A two or three course option for lunch, with a 6 course option in the evening. Please see the full menu on the drop down to this page.

Our menu is complimented by a comprehensive wine list and drinks offering including four real ales, four lagers, spirits, liquors and digestives

Service

Finally our service… we believe friendly and relaxed service is the key to making any dining experience a memorable one. We pride ourselves on wanting to offer just that… leaving you with an experience that will remain a special one, long after the party is over.

Christmas Diary

We have a lot happening over the Christmas period, including our Boxing Day Extravaganza. Please see the full diary for a listing. If you would to take part in our Boxing Day charity Duck Race then you need to make sure you purchase your Duck in advance. Numbers are limited and on a first come, first served basis. Decorating your Duck is not essential but warmly encouraged! Its £5 per Duck, and all proceeds this year going to Group B Strep Support.

Group B Strep is strain of meningitis that can affect new born babies, but is easily detectable during pregnancy and can be safely treated during birth. You can find out more details about this devastating infection here www.gbss.org.uk. All GBSS funds and efforts go towards raising awareness for Group B Strep and campaigning for free testing to be offered on the NHS.
